Technology Mahotsav Celebrated at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Sagroli - 22 January 2016



 On 22 January 2016 Mahila Melava was successfully conducted under Technology week -2016, in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli. In programme Dr. Suresh Kulkarni, Programme coordinator, KVK Sagroli had given introductory speech in which he explained programmes being conducted for women in KVK Sagroli. Mr. Sunil Deshmukh, Director Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal, Sharda nagar, Sagroli was Chairman of the programme. Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya, Manavlok, Ambejogai, Dr. Mrs. Asha Arya, Asso. Prof. Collage of Home Science VNMKV Parbhani and Dr. Mrs. Anagha Patil, President, Dilasa, Aurangabad was the guest for the programme. Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya explained the work pattern and benefits of self help group of women. He also told how the SHG are important now a day to increase the financial status of the women.

 Dr. Asha Arya focused on the importance of nutritious diet for women’s health. She also explained how to eat, when to eat and what to eat.



Dr. Mrs. Anagha Patil gave look on the “Entrepreneurship development in women a need of hour”. She suggested many of the small scale businesses for women.Mr. Mahadev Puri, Program Coordinator, DHAN Foundation Nanded, Mrs. Tabassum Momin, Swyam Shikshan Progya Nanded were also, Present for the program.
Mrs. Vanita More, Telki, Kandhar, Mrs. Revati Kangule, Kandhar, Bhagyashri, Kadam, Bhogav are the farm women who started enterprises in their area also shared their experiences with the audience.

More than 1000 farm women, Self help group members were attend the program. In the program they visited different demonstration units of KVK like Utkarsh Agro Industries and Training center (Food processing unit), Poly house, Shad net house, Goatry and Poultry unit, Azola unit, Hydroponic fodder, Waste water recycling plant, Sericulture unit, Dal mill etc.

With the theme of Hi tech horticulture and Animal Husbandry, second day of the technology mahotsav was celebrated.

unimportant fruit crop. The concept of growing in the irrigated field and can be marketed in systematic matter was not accepted by the so called innovative farmers. But he adopted this technology and got highest income compared to the fruit cultivation. Now the facilities of the cold chain and store house are available and farmer should take advantage of the same.

            Dr. Satyjeet Pawar from Kumar Florist, Pune suggested that Farmers should enter in the Hi-tech horticlutre by installing the polyhouse, shednet of vegetable nursery, adopting the technology of the micro-irrigatin system along with newly released variety. Marketing for the vegetable is now become very easy and, flower cultivation in protective situation and in open system is possible

Dr. Kuldeep Deshpande, Proff of College of veterinary Science, Parbhani Advised to adopt the hydroponic, azola and green fodder technology for the animals  to face the drought condition. He also suggested the technology as protection from the sunlight, artificial insemination, disinfections and vaccination in time.
